Opening times Monday to Friday 10am – 7pm; Saturday 10am – 3pm

Hosted by the Architectural Association’s new Interprofessional Studio (AAIS), ‘Salon’ aims to restore the AA Front Members’ Room to its original function as a sanctuary of stimulating conversation and the pursuit of knowledge. ‘Salon’ will be an installation bringing together collective AAIS themes with collaborations from directors, set designers, product designers, curators, video, sound and fine artists, architects, engineers and performers. The large table at the centre of the room will form a site of continual production with daily meetings, discussions and workshops, the outcome of which will form an ongoing, ever-increasing exhibition. Also screened in the space will be the AAIS’s recent presentations for Bauhaus Lab 2009, installations developed in collaboration with EU partners Theaterhaus Jena and C3 Budapest.
